Website Visitors to Gamera or our associated sites:

Data Collected: We collect anonymous data such as referral sources, top pages, visit duration, device information, and other non-personally identifiable information.

Gamera Customers:

Principle: We collect only essential data needed to provide our services.

Data Handling: Trusted external service providers, adhering to strict data protection standards, may process some data. They are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and process data only as instructed by us.

Data Required for Account Creation: Email address, full name (from external authentication providers like Google or Github).

Data Required for Subscription: For paid subscribers we collect payment and billing information through our third party payment processor (Stripe)

To maintain your account, provide updates, and contact you regarding Gamera-related information. We do not share your email with third parties without explicit consent.

Data Collected by the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio

To install the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio you must authorize the connector using your Google account. Gamera does not store or collect any information from your Google account at any time. You must provision a separate anonymized API key which will be used to communicate between the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio and our backend services.

During installation, you will be asked to allow the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio to "Connect to an external service". By granting this scope, your Looker Studio account will be able to communicate with our APIs for the purposes of importing your Gamera data into Looker Studio, assuming you've additionally authorized the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio to call our APIs via the issuance of an anonymized API key. By granting this authorization we may collect application level logs in order to guarantee service quality. These logs may contain:

• Which site and or organization requested which API URL
• How frequently each site or organization called our APIs
• Error conditions related to failed queries that include which site or organization was impacted by the error.
• We do not collect user level data in our logs

Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio Data Sharing Policy

When you use the Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio, you have control over how you share your analytics data. You can choose to create private dashboards for internal use or share reports with specific individuals or teams within your organization. Remember, when you share reports publicly or with external parties, your analytics data may become accessible to those recipients.

When you're signed in and use the Gamera Analytics Connector, your Gamera account information (such as organization name) may appear in connection with your Looker Studio reports and dashboards that utilize Gamera data.

When Gamera shares your information through the Analytics Connector

We do not share your personal information or analytics data with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of Gamera except in the following cases:

With your consent We'll share analytics data outside of Gamera when you have explicitly configured the Gamera Analytics Connector to do so through your Looker Studio settings. For example, when you share a Looker Studio report that contains Gamera data with external collaborators, we facilitate this data sharing based on your explicit sharing configuration. You maintain full control over which data is shared and with whom through your Looker Studio sharing settings.

With Google/Looker Studio When you use the Gamera Analytics Connector, your analytics data is transmitted to and processed by Google's Looker Studio platform according to your connector configuration. This data sharing is necessary to provide the connector service and is governed by both this privacy policy and Google's Looker Studio privacy policy. Google may process this data according to their own privacy practices as outlined in their documentation.

For external processing We may provide analytics data to trusted service providers who help us operate the Gamera Analytics Connector or supporting infrastructure, based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. These service providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed by us and maintain strict data protection standards.

For legal reasons We will share information outside of Gamera if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

• Respond to applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
• Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations
• Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues
• Protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Gamera, our users, or the public

We may share non-personally identifiable, aggregated analytics information to show trends about general usage of our services, but this information cannot be used to identify individual users or specific websites or customers.

If Gamera is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we'll continue to ensure the confidentiality of your analytics data and give affected users notice if your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Security:

Third-Party Services:

• Payment Processing is handled by Stripe. See Stripe Privacy Policy for details.
• Email Communications are managed using Mailgun.
• Site Favicon Retrieval is done via DuckDuckGo with a protective proxy. Refer to DuckDuckGo Privacy Policy for more information.
• Feature Requests are managed through Nolt. Consult Nolt’s Privacy Policy for their data usage details.
• The Gamera Analytics Connector for Looker Studio may import data into Looker Studio. Refer to to Google's Documentation for more information regarding which Google privacy policy applies to you.

Correspondence and Feedback:

We retain correspondence and feedback, including email addresses, for reference in future interactions and to understand feature request popularity.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as necessary for our service provision, legal obligations, and policy enforcement. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed. This action is irreversible.
